Tidy Tags Documentation
Tidy Tags gives you a control panel section for auditing, cleaning, and merging tags across every site in your Craft install. It also watches tag fields while editors are working and warns them when a new tag looks like an existing one, so your taxonomy stays tidy.
Getting Started
Use the sidebar to navigate the guides, or jump straight to one of the most common tasks below. If you've run php craft entrify/tags and your “tags” are now entries, head to Tag-like Entry Sections.
If your tags are a controlled list of proper nouns — clubs, competitions, places, people, products — rather than free text typed by editors, read Matching Strategies first. It is the one setting that changes what every other part of the plugin reports.
